Price of polymer cable trays for tunnels in Hungary

Polymer cable trays in Hungary, such as GRP or fiberglass trays, are available from multiple suppliers, with prices typically customized based on size, load capacity, and project requirements.Material and Application

For tunnel projects, GRP (glass-reinforced polymer) cable trays are commonly used due to their corrosion resistance, non-conductivity, and electromagnetic transparency, making them ideal for harsh or confined environments like tunnels . These trays can span large distances without support and do not require grounding, which is advantageous in underground installations .

Suppliers in Hungary

Several suppliers provide polymer and other cable trays suitable for tunnels:

• AVIUS Hungary offers GRP cable trays and fully metal-free solutions for corrosive environments .
• Brilltech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. supplies fiberglass, PVC, and other polymer-based trays, emphasizing durability, airflow, and compliance with industry standards .
• Emtron KFT and BAKS distributors provide technical support and customized solutions for industrial and construction projects .

Pricing Approach

Exact prices for polymer cable trays are not publicly listed because costs depend on:

• Tray length, width, and height
• Load-bearing capacity
• Perforation type (solid, ventilated, or ladder style)
• Quantity and project scale
• Customization requirements (e.g., color, fire resistance, chemical resistance) Suppliers in Hungary typically provide quotes upon request, allowing for tailored pricing based on project specifications . For budgeting purposes, contacting suppliers directly with your tunnel project requirements is recommended to obtain accurate and competitive pricing.

Recommendations

• Prepare a detailed specification sheet including tray dimensions, load requirements, and environmental conditions.
• Request multiple quotes from suppliers like AVIUS, Brilltech, and Emtron KFT to compare prices and delivery options.
• Consider long-term durability and maintenance costs, as polymer trays often reduce corrosion-related expenses compared to metal trays. By following this approach, you can obtain precise pricing and ensure the selected polymer cable trays meet the technical and safety requirements for tunnel installations in Hungary.
