Price of Multi-layer Cable Trays in Pipe Gallerys

Multi-layer cable trays in pipe galleries typically range from ₹44 to ₹67 per coupler plate, with tray prices varying by height, material, and length.Pricing Overview

Cable trays are generally priced based on height, width, material, and standard length (commonly 2.4–2.5 meters). For multi-layer installations in pipe galleries, ladder-type or perforated trays are commonly used. Prices for coupler plates, which are essential for connecting tray sections, are as follows:

• 25–30 mm height trays: ₹44 per piece (with hardware)
• 50 mm height trays: ₹44 per piece (with hardware)
• 75–100 mm height trays: ₹67 per piece (with hardware) Mumbai-based suppliers list slightly lower rates, e.g., ₹16–30 per coupler plate depending on tray height . These prices are exclusive of GST and typically require a minimum order of 50 meters, with delivery within 3–5 days .

Material and Specifications

• Materials: Hot-dip galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or FRP/GRP composites
• Tray types: Ladder-type for heavy cable support, perforated for ventilation and cable management
• Standard dimensions: Side channels 50–75 mm, rung dimensions 35 x 15 mm, rung interval 250 mm
• Accessories: Brackets, fittings, and coupler plates for multi-layer stacking and stable installation

Considerations for Multi-layer Pipe Galleries

• Load capacity: Ensure the tray material and height can support the total cable weight.
• Space optimization: Multi-layer trays allow stacking of circuits, reducing floor space usage.
• Installation: Coupler plates and brackets are required for secure connections and alignment.
• Customization: Some suppliers offer custom widths, heights, and slot patterns for specific project needs . For bulk procurement, contacting suppliers directly (e.g., M.G. Cable Industries or Manibhadra) is recommended to confirm current rates, delivery schedules, and GST applicability .
